Cat-Back Exhaust Systems
Cat-Back is a slang / abbreviation for a exhaust system that is connected to your vehicles existing catalytic converter. Meaning the components start where your catalytic converter stops and ends where the exhaust finally exits your vehicle. Here again there a quite a few manufacturers of this addition to chose from. Gibson, Borla, and Flowmaster to name a few. You can get them in two different styles, single pipe and duo pipe exhaust.

pertaining to exhaust systems, be sure to read: I imagine the biggest difference your going to see .......... or is that hear, is that once you've installed one of these systems the sound is going to be more bold and throaty... as to the horsepower you'll actually gain ......I have no idea. As to which one to choose........I can't really recommend, however a few Quad Owners that have written are indicating they got the Gibson systems. I'll continue to update this section with any information I can find. But I need your help. If you have purchased a system, write in and let me know about it and what differences you've noticed in performance. |
