Introduction

These pages will be dealing with the growth and change of the Dodge Dakota Quad Quad as the years go on.

Since purchasing my Dakota Quad Pickup (May 24 - 2000), I new that Chrysler had hit on a good Idea and thought that it would be interesting to follow the evolution of what I believe to be on of the most practical and exciting vehicles to own and drive.

Hopefully they can continue to manufacture a high quality vehicle as they did mine, well into the next decade. I've noticed that some manufactures that once they produce an exceptional model they try to figure out how to build the next model cheaper to maximize profits. They accomplish this by using thinner gauge steel, cheaper suppliers and materials, just to name a few.

I just hope they continue to build the latter models Quads as well as they built mine. Why?, being a proud owner of a 2000 Dakota Quad, the model that started it all, it's nice to know the name and quality can continue through the years, in turn making my investment a sought after collectors item in the future, and for those of you looking for another way to make an investment consider playing the stock market.
