DQCOG the Dakota Quad Cab Owners Group is online and undergoing tests and preparation for it's opening premier on Nov. 1-2001

The server we'll be using is jam packed with features that's going to make using this site a real blast!

Currently were asking our pioneer members to assist with testing the new server for speed and reliability. Members can check Anthony's post on the Quad Owners board for more information concerning this.

Members might be able to begin physically testing and reviewing the site as early as October 1st.

Since January of 2001 I've been debating and contemplating putting up a site for us Quad Owners that will have it's own domain name.

I have so far, obtained the domain name of DQCOG.COM.

Some of you may confuse this abbreviation for .. Damn Quick Car Owners Group ..... close......but I'd like to verify it will stand for: Dakota Quad Cab Owners Group.

Why?

I'm not sure how many of you have read the "I had a dream" page that I put up a while back. For those that have read the page.........and possibly share the same thoughts ....... I've decided to ... do something .... and take it a step further.

For those of you that have read the off-line support section you are aware that running a righteous Internet site takes a significant amount of time and (obviously) money which places limitations on what I can do and .... and ... what we can do as owners of the Dakota Quad Cab ....... I really don't care for .... limitations!

But more than that ... judging by amount of similar interests we seem to share as Quad owners it would seem the only natural evolution of this site would be the conception of the Dakota Quad Cab Owners Group.

The proposed site will be a members site, which means their will be fees associated with joining, in order to maintain a portion of and one day, hopefully all of the sites operational costs and expenses.

Unlike some group sites that are sponsored by the manufacture for the sole purpose of the proliferation of their own product...............

Our web site is by us, for us. And the only proliferation we need to see .... is the proliferation of ideas, good information, fun and comradeship. By myself, I can't cover every topic under the sun ......... but we can!

Group Emblem

Just a few lines for now. I was wondering if some of you Quad owners are artistically endowed or anything better than myself... can you say..... chicken scratch. If so ... consider helping me out in desinging an emblem for the Dakota Quad Cab Owners Group.

Forming State Chapter / Head - Leaders for DQCOG

I'm looking for individuals who are interested in heading up a chapter of the DQCOG for their state.

Primary attributes for this person: Enjoy talking to people, having fun, being outdoors, an ability to be fair & honest with ...... some bullshit thrown in for good balance.
